Astronomical Visit to Space Arcade

Introduction: The collaborative effort of OPTICA Student Chapter  NCU led to a significant visit to SPACE INDIA: Astronomy & Space Science Education Event . A Step towards promotion of astronomical enlightenment, endeavoring to illuminate minds with the profound wonders of cosmos through education and practical knowledge in the realm of Astronomy. 

Event Overview:  The event took place at Space Arcade, providing an excellent platform for the students to unveil their interests. Additionally, they had the privilege of meeting experienced Astronomers and educators who led this event. they also had the opportunity to observe prominent constellations, 

Key Points:  During this phenomenal event, participants were given brief description about the telescopes, there were celestron Nexstar 6se, 8 inch dobsonian which provided stunning view of wide variety of celestial objects. In addition of these, participants were enthralled by the captivating views through two more reflector telescopes, where they marveled at the ethereal beauty of the Moon, majestic presence of Jupiter, the Orion constellation, the Orion nebula, and Star Clusters.

Participants Engagement: Throughout the visit, Students were engaged in informative knowledge about celestial mechanics led by the experienced staff. Many students expressed their fascination at the vastness of the universe and some got introduced to the stage of newfound fascination.

Acknowledgment: Participants were honored with certificates appreciating their dedication. This gesture encourages ongoing engagement, fosters camaraderie and emphasizes the value of academic and extracurricular pursuits within our community.

Conclusion: The Astronomical visit was a resounding success, providing Optica student chapter an engaging opportunity to escalate their understanding of astronomy .The visit definitely provide a comprehensive exploration in the field of astronomy and we look forward to future collaborations as well.
